About us
Araluen Botanic Park is a spectacular garden in a unique micro-climate of Western Australia’s Darling Range, open to the public every day of the year (except Christmas Day).
Araluen Botanic Park was established in 1929 and owes much of its ongoing beauty to the generosity of volunteers, sponsors and members of the Park.
Visitors come to Araluen for family barbecue picnics, a stroll throughout the spectacular massed blooms during spring, to explore the Park’s heritage or simply experience the unique facilities, such as the Roundhouse Gift Shop, Chalet Healy Tearooms or the Araluen Train.
We are host to a number of exciting events each year, plus the popular It’s Yates Springtime at Araluen. We also organise and run Araluen’s Fremantle Chilli Festival, annually in March.
Please browse the About Araluen pages for details on our history, facilities and people or simply contact us for more information.
