Our Local Markets ABN 69685869034 – Payments & Returns Policies

1.     Buyers' Responsibility

Please note that all order transaction are made directly between  you (the buyer) and the stall-holder (the seller). Our Local Markets does not take part in the transaction process and therefore shall not be held responsible for any conflicts occur between the buyer and seller. 

Buyers are responsible to ensure that the terms of sale is understood before committing to purchase. Buyers are responsible to ensure all information provided are correct for completion of the purchase. 

An order is not confirm until payment is received and therefore items will only be sent after payment is received. Any seller determined to have received payment for an item but failing to send it will be banned from Our Local Markets. Buyers affected by such practices will be advised to take further legal actions towards individual seller directly to reclaim loses. We encourage buyer to inform us of such incident as well so we could take necessary action towards the seller ourself.

2.     Post Payment

Once your payment is received, an order confirmation email with receipt which includes packing & shipping details will be sent to your email address. A copy of the receipt will also accompany the items purchased to be delivered to you. Please inform us if you do not see a confirmation email within 24 hours.

3.     Stores

Our Local Markets consist of stores from many sellers. As a result, when you purchase items from different sellers the items are put in different shopping carts/bags and you will be required to pay individually each seller's shopping cart/bag and postage. Please contact us for further inquiries.

4.     Payment Methods

Payment methods may differ from each individual sellers on Our Local Markets. The available payment options are provided during the check out process. 

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy

1.     How To Return An Item

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned. Your must contact the seller direct within 7 days from date of received and return the item within 7 days from date of acceptance of the return.

Please email seller direct to request a refund, return, or exchange and reason for it. Sellers' email address are generally listed under the sellers/stallholders page. 

Please follow seller's instructions for returns, refunds, or exchange of purchases. Please always include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and a copy of the receipt. 

2.     Return Exceptions

Some items can not be returned. These include fresh produce, food, and other perishable.

Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange. 

3.     Restocking Fee

All return items are subject to a 10% restocking fee (if you simply change your mind), this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order. Hence, we urge that you must be absolutely sure that you want that item before you confirm payments.

4.     Exchanges

You may exchange your purchased item. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case. Unless the reason for exchanged is due to manufacturer's defect, you will be required to return the item at your own cost and the postage of the exchanged item/s as if a new order had been placed.

5. Manufacturer's Defects Or Errors on Seller's Behalf

In case of manufacturer's defects or an order is sent out wrongly, please contact seller ASAP to arrange for a return or exchange. You shall not be charged for cost to ship out the replacement nor the return of the defective items. The seller shall be responsible to right their wrong without cost to the buyer in these cases.

Note that our sellers are encouraged to keep proof that items sent are in good condition and correct according to the order prior to delivery. It is also sellers' responsibility to ensure packaging is sufficient to protect items from getting damage during transit or/and take up parcel insurance.
