About the Event

Back for its second year, Cambridge Street is set to be transformed into a dynamic community space, with activities including live entertainment, pop up market stalls, amusement rides, children's entertainment, circus performers and plenty of community group participation. There will be plenty to eat and drink... and lots more fun for the whole family! The Local & General Markets are a boutique market with a focus on handmade & unique stallholders. Our markets are held regularly at the Secret Harbour Community Centre & South Perth Community Hall. The Local & General Markets started in 2013 by Street Hassle Events and have a heritage of many years of knowledge and experience behind it. It has an excellent reputation within the market stall industry and the full support of its ever expanding database across the Metropolitan area. The staff behind the markets are dedicated to bringing together a variety of handmade, unique & funky stallholders.
